The Jones family tree starts in Cradley in the Black Country in the middle of the 18th century. In the 1850's, Ferdinando and Thomas Jones moved to the iron works Consett in Durham where they married and settled down. Ferdinando's grandson, John, married Dorothy HAWORTH of Great Yarmouth. She was part of a family that I have researched in great detail and their story can be found at My Haworth Family.
